Myriad Uranium Corp

Positioning Thomas Lamb as a Uranium Industry Thought Leader

In August 2025, SOMA Public Relations partnered with Myriad Uranium Corp. to bridge a communication gap in the energy sector. At the time, the global landscape was shifting rapidly toward nuclear energy as the essential source for clean, reliable power. This demand has only been accelerated by the rise of AI and massive data centers, which require constant, carbon-free baseload energy that only nuclear can deliver at scale.

However, this "Nuclear Renaissance" faces a significant hurdle: a domestic supply crisis. The United States currently consumes between 40–50 million pounds of uranium annually but produces only 1–2 million pounds, leaving a massive supply gap that threatens national energy security.

SOMA recognized that Myriad Uranium, a U.S.-focused exploration company with high-potential projects at Copper Mountain, Wyoming, and Red Basin, New Mexico, was uniquely positioned to address this crisis. Our strategic goal was to move beyond traditional mining updates and position Myriad’s CEO, Thomas Lamb, as the definitive thought leader and trusted voice for guidance on uranium, U.S. energy security, and exploration innovation. By aligning Myriad's milestones with the national energy narrative, we aimed to prove that Myriad is not just an explorer, but a clean energy leader fueling America’s path to net zero.

What We Did

SOMA Public Relations executed a multi-phase strategy focused on elevating Thomas Lamb to a trusted industry thought leader.

  • Strategic PR Plan & Delivery: We developed a comprehensive PR strategy that shifted the narrative from simple exploration to clean energy innovation. We identified six signature storylines, ranging from "Invisible Uranium" to "Fueling the Digital Economy," to serve as the backbone for media outreach.

  • Media Training & Spokesperson Prep: To ensure Thomas Lamb communicated with clarity and confidence, we conducted a comprehensive media training session with ongoing support.

  • Targeted Media Outreach: We built a media list specifically designed to uplift Thomas’s profile beyond mining trade publications. Our focus was on mainstream business, finance, and innovation platforms, securing placements in podcasts and mainstream outlets.

  • Thought Leadership & Presence: We maintained a consistent media presence by positioning Thomas as a regular commentator on uranium's role in the U.S. clean energy transition.

  • Milestone-Driven Storytelling: We ensured the media remained updated on every key development, always centering Thomas as the available expert. From attaining drilling permits to releasing updated NI 43-101 technical reports, to when Myriad entered a Binding Letter of Intent to merge with Rush Rare Metals Corp to consolidate Copper Mountain, we positioned Thomas as the architect of this strategic progress and growth.
